Community Service
Dear SRV Mt Bike Team Students, Coaches, Ride Leaders & Parents
As part of our team mission we are committed to participating in "Active Community Service". Our partnership with "Save Mt Diablo" provides our students, coaches, ride leaders and parents an opportunity to serve and support the trails and the park we actively use. SEE BELOW
Marsh Creek IV Restoration Workday (Diablo Restoration Team) – Sunday, December 19th from 9am - noon
What: Join the DiRT at our Marsh Creek IV restoration site for a fun morning full of habitat restoration activities. We'll be building tree shelters, pulling a few weeds, and plating trees. This is a great opportunity to see the hard work DiRT has done over the past year helping establish nearly 500 native plants along the heavily impacted Marsh Creek flood plane. Wear long pants, boots and layers. Bring water, hand trowels and gloves if you have them - we'll bring extras. If rain is in the forecast bring a rain jacket. Please RSVP to George. George (925) 947-3535 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting (925) 947-3535 end_of_the_skype_highlighting or gphillips@savemountdiablo.org
When: Dec. 19 Sun., 9am-noon
Where: Meet at 3240 Aspara Dr. Clayton CA 94517. From I-680/Central County head east on Ygnacio, turn right on Clayton Rd which becomes Marsh Creek Rd. Aspara Dr is on the right, 1.5 miles past the Morgan Territory split. From Brentwood/East County head west on Marsh Creek Rd., Aspara Dr is on the left 5 miles past Deer Valley Rd.
